I’ve eaten at just about every sushi place that Modesto has to offer. Some are good. Some are bad. Okawa honestly is EXCELLENT. The prices are fair and the quality is super high. Rolls are tight and do not fall apart. Staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is very well put together. My new favorite sushi place is right here.

Best Sushi in all Modesto. No matter what you order here, be sure to expect the best. Flavor, you will never complain, customer service is at its best, food presentation is very pleasing, and the atmosphere is very inviting and welcoming. To be honest, don’t waste your time at other sushi restaurants and (that’s just my personal opinion), but I guarantee you that once you have tried this restaurant you will never go back and you will thank me later.

This place was not too busy. Our sever Kristi was awesome. The food was great. Loved the fried oysters. They have very reasonable lunch specials. Lunch specials come with soup and salad, both. A great verity to choose from. It was clean, and so were the restrooms. It was quit in there.
